Ram Power Wagon

Ram Power Wagon

Last week on RamZone, we posted a short recap and, more important, a gallery of photos captured on-site by the RamZone staff at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We realize now that at least one truck in attendance—the Ram Power Wagon—deserves its own post, not because it’s better or somehow more special than any other Ram Truck. Rather, a truck this tough simply deserves a place in the spotlight from time to time.

Features of the Ram Power Wagon on display at the NAIAS in 2013 include the following:

  • Legendary 5.7L HEMI V-8 engine with 383 horsepower and 400 lb-ft torque
  • Exclusive Flat Black exterior paint with unique res splash graphics
  • Electronic locking front and rear differentials with 4.56 axle ratio
  • Electronic disconnecting sway bar
  • Custom-built Warn 12,000-lb winch
  • Bilstein shocks
  • Tubular steel underbody protection and special skid plates
  • Standard 4- and 7-pin trailer tow connectors
  • RamBox System option with factory-installed spray-in bed liner
  • All-Secure locking system for doors, tailgate, and RamBox

While some of the features listed above are custom to the NAIAS version of Ram Power Wagon, many are available with production Power Wagons. To learn more, please visit the Power Wagon page at RamTrucks.com.
