Interview with Bob Hegbloom, Director of Ram Trucks

Interview with Bob Hegbloom, Director of Ram TrucksCertain days will always be remembered fondly here on RamZone—the day we announced the 2014 Ram ProMaster, the day Cummins® produced its two-millionth 6.7-liter engine for Ram Trucks, the day the 2013 Ram 1500 was named Truck of Texas.

The list goes on and this week we proudly add another important date to the list—June 28, 2013, a.k.a. the day we unveiled the 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel and also announced the availability of gasoline-powered 6.4-liter HEMI® engines for the heaviest hitters in our Heavy Duty lineup.

The unveiling and the announcement came mid-afternoon on the 28th (last Friday) at the Chelsea Proving Grounds in Chelsea, Michigan. At 12:30 p.m. on the same day, Bob Hegbloom, Director of Ram Trucks, sat down for an interview and discussed the Ram Trucks propensity for securing industry firsts—the first light-duty diesel pickup truck, for example.

Please enjoy this replay of Mr. Hegbloom’s interview.

I love my 2002 Dodge ram. I just wish Dodge would own up to the problem of the cracking dash.
