You’ve heard us say it time and time again. Ram Trucks play just as hard as they work. When it’s time to go to work on the job site, we rely on our friends at Ram Commercial and their full lineup of super-capable commercial vehicles. The Ram Commercial lineup has a vehicle for every commercial need. From our Ram 1500 Tradesman, to our 2500 and 3500 heavy duty models, to our ProMaster and ProMaster City commercial vans, our trucks and vans are the most important tool in the toolbox.
Each year we attend the National Truck Equipment Association Truck Show in Indianapolis. This is one of the largest gatherings of commercial truck and body builder companies in the country. This year we got into the trenches talking trucks and upfits with body builders in our breakout sessions, brought the back-to-back Motor Trend Truck of the Year Ram 1500 to the NTEA floor and proudly displayed our Ram Heavy Duty trucks that feature the legendary Cummins Turbo Diesel with 850 lb.-ft. of torque capable of pulling a best-in-class 30,000 lbs. That’s over 2.5 tons more than the competition. It’s safe to say when it comes to work, Ram Trucks are ready to tackle any job you can throw at them.
We did have a little fun at The Truck Show this year. We sent NTEA attendees on a ProMaster scavenger hunt. As they discovered features of our commercial van that make it the ultimate canvas for upfitting and commercial use, they also earned their way toward an entry in our sweepstakes to win a Bosch work site stereo. Spread throughout the show, we hid markers that featured facts and asked them to take photos to enter. It was a fun way to interact with each part of the ProMaster and far more fun than a brochure that ends up at the bottom of your bag.
In 2014 we’re continuing our commitment to the commercial vehicle market, continually listening and updating our trucks and vans to fit the needs of those driving them in the field every day. After all, without you, our owners, we’re nothing.
