As many of you loyal readers were probably aware, Ram Truck was proud to serve as the official vehicle of Big 12 college football’s Red River Rivalry. The annual October matchup between the University of Texas and the University of Oklahoma is held each year in Dallas’ Cotton Bowl stadium, on the grounds of, and during, the Texas State Fair. We hit State Fair Park with the beautiful Hemi Girls, armed to teeth with Mardi Gras beads, and managed to part ways with all but the strands around our own necks. As a matter of fact, they proved such a hot commodity that we managed to give both the mechanical bull and the lasso demonstration a serious run for the spotlight. Inside, the shiny assault was continued at the Ram Truck display. Working the crowds around the Ram 1500s, 2500s, 3500s and Chassis Cabs, we snagged as many fairgoers as we could, and by the time we were finished, there wasn’t a single neutral color in the crowd.
When we weren’t cheering ourselves hoarse, we were celebrating the launch of our own varsity stand-out, the Ram Laramie Longhorn. Check out the videos above and below for all the action you missed.
