Country music’s finest and most talented stars took to the stage during the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards in Las Vegas this past Sunday, and the Ram Truck Brand was there to join in the festivities. Kicking off the night, several new Laramie Longhorn Edition trucks were on hand to bring the celebrities to the Red Carpet and make their grand entrance among their adoring fans and media. The fun didn’t stop there; as the night culminated with the coveted “Entertainer of the Year” where fans were given the chance to vote for online or via text. This year’s winner, Taylor Swift, was among good company alongside nominees Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.
During the ACM Awards, we also took an important moment to honor the sacrifices of our military personnel. One service member, Sgt. 1st Class James Dettloff, was recognized for his service in two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Dettloff arrived in an American flag-themed Ram truck specially designed for this occasion. Our special guest symbolized all the brave men and women in uniform from our nation’s military.
