It’s very possible that you’re already booked for the summer. The kids are out of school, meaning that camping, fishing, horseback riding, and generally enjoying the great outdoors, is on the agenda. We know you can’t wait to pack up your Ram Truck and hit the road, but once you get home dusty and dirty we know you’ll be ready for a little luxury. Might we suggest you book a weekend’s stay for the whole family at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee? A good weekend to visit the newly renovated family-fun resort would be the weekend of August 12th.
Okay, you got us, we have ulterior motives. From August 12th to the 14th we are proudly presenting the first ever Bass Pro Shops Land and Wildlife Expo, to be held at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Of course, the resort offers visitors more than enough activities and accommodations on its own, but for that weekend alone we are collaborating with five of the Nation’s top wildlife conservation organizations to bring outdoor enthusiasts an event like no other.
Indoors, the Convention Center will offer over 100,000 square-feet of exhibits, featuring product demos from top outdoor companies, seminars by leading biologists, activities for the kids, and a private concert with Opry Member Craig Morgan and special guest Jeff Foxworthy.
As if that weren’t enough, we’re also taking over the hundred acres of private land adjacent to Opryland to provide crop demos, test-drives, an ATV and UTV test track, and a Kids Village that includes a zip line, a shooting trailer, and an archery range.
We will also be hosting seminars specifically designed for hunters, landowners, and land managers. During this time our conservation partners will discuss strategies for getting the most out of your property through wildlife management and habitat development.
All in all, it’s more than enough to keep you and the whole family busy for a weekend. We hope you’ll join us there.
