Jeremy and Betty go back quite a ways. They’ve been through almost 700,000 miles of work together, so it’s understandable that Jeremy, a Communication Tower Maintenance Technician, would suggest that Betty retire. Jeremy knows he’s not going to get any grief from the old girl, since she’s a little less a lady and more of a work truck. The ’04 1500 Ram truck—named Betty—has been in full service since Jeremy purchased her in ’04. He says she has plenty of life left in her, but plans to give her a break come the end of summer. As summer comes to a close to and Betty hits 700,000 miles on the odometer, we know Jeremy will miss having the old girl there, day in and day out.
