We thought it might be a nice treat to show off some of the cool ways RAM Trucks is using technology to incorporate our social media endeavors in a real world display.
At the New York International Auto Show, attendees get a chance to see their own status updates, Tweets, and comments displayed on an interactive RAM Social Media Truck, complete with touch-screen windows and a live-feed of what our fans think.
Not only is this a great use of technology and social media, it’s also an effort to bring awareness to our charitable contributions, as we were able to provide children in need with plush stuffed Ram animals. We filled the truck bed with these adorable little critters, and will donate them at the end of the show to children and families challenged by poverty, homelessness, domestic abuse and disaster survival. The two charities are K.I.D.S. (Kids in Distressed Situations) and Covenant House. For more information about these charities, visit their respective sites here:
Stay tuned to RamZone or become a fan of RAM Trucks on Facebook to see how else RAM Trucks is helping those in need, and how we’re getting the message out using the latest in social media technology. As always, thank you for your support and dedication as fans and rest assured knowing it is because of fans like you that allow us to do what we do.
