Last week on the RamZone we made an appeal to our readers: Tell us your best sports-related Story of Glory and we’ll give you a shot at winning the Grand Prize, an all-expense-paid trip to the Dan Patrick Show to be interviewed live in-studio. This week, we want to make it clear that meeting Dan Patrick and The Danettes in Connecticut—while obviously awesome—is not the only prize at stake.
Potential contestants should know that there are additional prizes to win, and at least two ways to win them. One way is simply by submitting a story. Thirty-one Ram and Dan Patrick “swag bags” will be awarded sweepstakes-style to contestants picked randomly from all entries.
The second way to win is by submitting a story the judges feel deserves recognition despite being edged out ultimately by the grand-prize winner. Particularly noteworthy Stories of Glory will be rewarded with “swag bags” of their own and will also be published right here on the RamZone.
That’s not all. A select number of random and juried contestants will be immortalized on custom-made personalized trading cards. Now, if that alone isn’t reason enough for entering, then we don’t know what is.
