Reader-Submitted Story: Just Something About a Truck

Photo from RamZone files

Although this story has more to do with the Ram Truck the writer longs to have rather than the vehicle he currently owns, we couldn’t help but feel it captures the right spirit. Here’s Aaron H. with fond memories of Rams gone by as well as a look ahead to the truck he and his son hope one day to purchase.

I have always driven a truck. My first was a Jeep Comanche, then a Ford Ranger. As my life has evolved with marriage and family, we went to a Jeep Grand Cherokee, and now a minivan. I drive every day, wishing I had a truck instead. There is just something about a truck.

How ironic Case IH and Ram have partnered together. My grandpa on my dad’s side was a farmer, who last drove a red Ram pickup truck that I always loved! He also drove bright red Case IH tractors in the fields. My fondest memories are of my dad and I driving around in his red truck, oftentimes on our way to fish. I have often asked my own son what kind of truck I should get. He always smiles and says “a red Ram.” For me, there is just something about a truck!

We couldn’t agree more with you, Aaron. Thanks for sharing!
