The New 2013 Ram 1500 – Already Making Headlines

The wait is almost over, Ram fans. Only a few short weeks remain before the new 2013 Ram 1500 is widely available at dealerships across the country. In the meantime, we’ll do our best here on the RamZone to relay the latest news and reviews about the latest Ram.

Here, for example, is one of the first reviews available. It comes to us from Autospies.com, who recently compared our truck to the Ford F-150 Eco-Boost. Spoiler alert: The writer says that if he “were in the market right now, [he] would have to give a slight edge to the RAM.”

We suggest you read the article in full to find out exactly why the writer prefers the new 2013 Ram 1500 to the other truck. (There is also a must-see photo gallery with Ram Trucks at popular Memphis landmarks). We can’t resist including a few of what we think are the highlights from the piece, however. We hope you find them useful.

  • The Ram is “hands down the better driver. I loved my F-150 but the Ford steering feels very vague and soft compared to the BMW-like ‘carve up the road’ feeling you get driving the RAM.”
  • “The new Uconnect system is now the king of the hill in trucks…really well executed.”
  • “The gas mileage is BETTER than the Eco-Boost Ford’s without having to rely on turbocharging. That means a LOT of you like to tow stuff.”
  • “In my eyes, the RAM is the champ for ME.”

Here again is the link to the review, and here too is a link to the new 2013 Ram 1500 [long link] page on RamTrucks.com, where you can watch a series of videos documenting how this truck earned the “edge” over the competition.
