What started with a sweepstakes giveaway for VIP concert tickets will end with a five-truck auction where all proceeds go to charity—don’t look now, but the Road to Ram Jam has officially switched gears.
Although the entry period for the Road to Ram Jam sweepstakes ended in September, there remains plenty for us to talk about. All five artists signed on to perform at the Ram Jam concert this December are auctioning off a truck in early 2013—and not just any truck, but the Ram Truck each has been driving for the past year.
Kellie Picker, for instance, will be auctioning her 2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Langhorn and will donate all proceeds to the USO, a fantastic organization dedicated to supporting wounded, ill, and injured soldiers. The USO mission to “lift the spirits of America’s troops and their families” is truly a noble one, and Ram is proud to be part of any event that helps bring it more attention.
Keep an eye on the RamZone to find out which deserving organizations the four other Ram Jam artists will support with the proceeds from the auction in early 2013 of their own Ram Trucks.
