Ram Shows Off a Little at SEMA

ManDisplay10Ram is made to get the job done, but that doesn’t mean it can’t shine up for a trip to Vegas. The Mopar guys went the luxury route for the Ram Bianco Image Vehicle.  Slick Arctic Ice pearl paint compliments the sporty Mopar body kit and lowering kit for a unique, upscale exterior. Don’t be fooled, this Ram is still rough and tough underneath with a 5.7 liter Hemi V-8 and growling dual exhaust.

Check out more Ram trucks from SEMA after the jump.

2010 Dodge Ram 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 Laramie featuring various Mopar accessories. SEMA 2009.You can really see yourself in the 2010 Ram 2500 Crew Cab. Not just because it has the most powerful standard engine in the segment (6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel). This HD is outfitted in a brilliant “Chrome Theme” Mopar trim. Chromed tube steps, door-sill guards, tailgate bezel, fuel door, and b-pillar trim really stand out against that Deep Water Blue paint job.

2010 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab 4x4 Laramie. SEMA 2009.We also love the Ultimate Tow Machine – a Bright White 2010 Ram 3500 Mega Cab that can tow up to 16,450 lbs. and a max payload of 5,150 lbs thanks to a 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel. The truck is outfitted with Mopar accessories like a Gooseneck Hitch that attaches to the frame rails, Retractable Bed Step, and rust-proof Running Boards make this the ultimate work machine.

Hey, Where are the 2010 3500’s. Come on guys. What’s the problem. Ed

  • Terry Abney

You have chosen the wrong voice to represent a Dodge Ram truck. You need someone that sounds young and strong. This voice sounds like a 60 yearold man who is tired. I ought to know. I am over 60 and have been tired too many times lately. I drive a Durango and love it. But this man’s voice sounds like it should represent a minivan. Sorry guys but I mean this as constructive criticism. Hope you listen. I also question Pontiac’s decision to name such a great looking sports car “Solstice”. Sounds like something an old man rubs on sore muscles.

  • tr4petty

I must agree with Mr. Abney. The new “My Name is Ram and My Tank is Full” TV ad is one of the lamest ads I’ve ever seen. That ad is not going to inspire anyone to go look at the new Ram, much less buy one! The voice is soft, almost feminine, and monotone. The pictures that go along with the ad are not well thought out. For example: When the ad says, “I carry a full load,” a Ram is shown with a dirt bike in the back! Is that a FULL load for a Ram? I hope NOT! This ad will make people go to the kitchen and splash water in their face to stay awake!

  • Ryan Gallagher

What the hell is this “My name is Ram” crap? Talk about an insult to an Icon. We know its name. We dont care if it can splash through some water… They can do a heck of a lot better than that…

  • Erick M

I must 120% agree that the New Ad is not only embarassing to us Hardcore Ram Drivers but also is a huge turn off for any new drivers and discrourages the present ones. With the bailouts I would of thought the Marketing would of been inovative and inspiring but it failed miserably. COME ON GUYS!!! WAKE UP!!!! The “Yeah it’s got a hemi” campaign was not only entertaining but also gave validity to us already loyal Ram owners… Marketing is definetly out of touch and need a good kick in the rear!!!!

  • Graham Jones

This truck is the nicest Ram yet…I’m on my fourth one…but the ad lacks in making me want get off my butt and go buy a new one. Find the “Marlboro Man” to do the ad or change it to be similar to the one with the engineers and designers…letting the people who dreamed of this truck speak to it.

Erick, Terry, Ryan, tr4petty, Graham, and all you guys: Thanks for all the comments, positive and negative, about our TV commercials. We hear ya and will take your thoughts into consideration when we’re dreaming up the next set of spots.

The 2010 Brochure reads the on the 2010 Ram Regular Cab Sport R/T 22″ wheels will be standard. Is there some way to find out if that is how they are currently coming of the production line? I’ve ordered one a sincerely hope so.

    Thanks for your time.

  • Got to have the “Ram Bianco”, Going to look for this one
