Dustin received a phone call at 6:00 a.m. telling him he’d won the college football experience of a lifetime. He was groggy, but he was headed to the game in a Ram 1500 Express.
RamZone: First, how did you find out about the contest, and what made you decided to enter?
Dustin: The day I found out about it, I was just kind of messing around, and the contest was trending online. Seemed like a good contest to win, and easy to enter. I got a call at 6:00 a.m. and was told I was the grand prize winner, and I was little groggy. Pretty crazy morning.
RamZone: What was your initial reaction to being inside the stadium?
Dustin: I’d been to the parade, but I’d never been to the game. It was pretty awesome. I didn’t realize the size of the place. You definitely knew you were at a college game, with the tailgating and young people. In the stadium it was loud, exciting. We probably didn’t sit down for more than five minutes. It worked out good with teams. I didn’t have anything against either one of them, but since I’m a west coaster I cheer for the teams around here. My sister lived in Wisconsin for a couple years, so we went back and forth the whole game, so it was an exciting experience.
RamZone: So you made it a family affair; did everyone have a good time? What was the day like, other than the game?
Dustin: I took my brother and my father and sister. A driver took us to and from the hotel, that way we didn’t have to deal with the traffic. I was in the backseat, and I thought it would be a tight fit, but it wasn’t, there was plenty of space – my dad my brother and I all in the back. Before we left the hotel, they took pictures of me and the models – really, beautiful models, by the way – and I got a pretty good feel for the truck.
RamZone: Glad you enjoyed the Ram 1500 Express. Do you have a dream truck?
Dustin: In middle school, me and my friends, our dream truck was the Ram 3500 with a Cummins and dually tires. So I’ve always liked Ram.
RamZone: Any parting words?
Dustin: I wanted to say that I’d like to extend my gratitude to Ram. This trip was something my family and I will never forget – just awesome.
