RAM RACER ON THE MOVE

Here’s a young driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series you’ll surely be hearing more about: Parker Kligerman, who drives a RAM Truck for Brad Keselowski Racing. Only 21 years old but already a seasoned veteran, Kligerman has been tagged as a promising talent by motorsports mogul Roger Penske, who signed the speedy kid to a development contract.

Kligerman (rhymes with twig-erman) first raced into the spotlight in the ARCA Remax Series in 2009, where he put together a dream season. He won nine races in 19 starts, missed taking the championship by a scant five points, and was selected rookie of the year.

For 2012 he’s focused on driving a RAM Truck in the Camping World Series for his Penske teammate Brad Keselowski. Four races into the 2012 season, Kligerman, who hails from Westport, Connecticut and attends the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, holds down a solid sixth place in the driver standings. Watch for him.

Would like to see more Rams in the Nascar Camping World Truck series.  There used to be around 10-12 Rams in each race.  Now we’re down to 1 or 2.  Most people don’t know what the Torc series is, much less watch it.  If you want you’re motorsports dollars well spent, you need to get back into Nascar!
