RAM Trucks and drivers nearly ran away with the show in the first two rounds of the Traxxas Off Road Championship Series in Charlotte this past weekend.
In Friday opening night action at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Andrew Caddell won the Pro Light category in his Mopar RAM, while Ricky Johnson’s RAM took the Pro 4 feature.
In Saturday’s second round competition, Caddell and Johnson picked up two additional wins, while Bryce Menzies driving yet another RAM scored one more, bringing the Mopar RAM weekend total in Charlotte to five victories.
“We had a fast truck all weekend,” said Menzies. “I led the whole thing on Friday and messed up at the end. We knew we would come back strong and I wanted to win this for my whole team. They certainly deserved it. It feels great to be on the top of the podium with our Mopar RAM.”
The Traxxas Off Road Championship returns to do battle on May 26–27 at the RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan, with two more rounds of competition.
