Ram is back in the saddle for the 2011 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo Dec. 1-10, in Las Vegas. Like last year, Ram will once again help honor the top cowboy or cowgirl who earns the most money in a single event across the grueling 10-day Professional Rodeo Cowboy’s Association ProRodeo finals with the Ram Truck Top Gun Award.
In 2010, Trevor Brazile bested J.W. Harris to capture the inaugural Ram Truck Top Gun Award to earn a specially wrapped Ram 3500 Heavy Duty. “It puts a whole new perspective on this NFR,” Trevor said, “ … there are a lot of times when you’re roping for a championship and you don’t take chances, (but) you’ll take a lot of chances for a Ram truck.” An estimated 119 people will be competing for the Top Gun Award this year.
In the spirit of Las Vegas, Ram will up the ante this year with a one-of-a-kind 3500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Laramie branded in commemorative rifle and a Montana Silversmiths buckle.Fans will be able to follow the Ram Truck Top Gun race during the finals through a WNFR live scoreboard on prorodeo.com, ProRodeo.com’s Facebook Page or the live telecasts on GAC Network.
