A major portion of this trip takes you along the Pacific Coast Highway. The PCH boasts some of the best views of the Pacific Ocean and wraps along the coast for hundreds of miles. In addition to having some of the most breathtaking views in the U.S., this route also gives you the opportunity to pass through some of the most culturally rich, fun cities on the West coast. Leaving San Fran by way of the Golden Gate Bridge, you can finish up your adventure crossing through California’s Redwood Forests and into Napa Valley. Napa is home to California wine country where you can visit vineyards, enjoy the countryside, or simply lay back and relax.

A Truck for Every Type: Ram Trucks Deliver for Every Lifestyle

Ram Trucks, 2014 Ram 1500

“Guts. Glory. Ram.” is our motto, but it doesn’t just apply to our trucks when they’re getting work done. The guts and glory in our trucks is for all different lifestyles, from getting the kids to school on time in the mornings to getting outside with enough room for bikes, kayaks and whatever toys you need to make it the best time. To make it clearer just how great a fit Ram trucks are for your life, we’ve broken down some of our favorite Ram details to show how they’ll work for you.

THE TRAVELER

Whether the miles you’re putting on your truck are spent getting the job done or getting you where you want to go on a weekend road trip, those little extra details matter. The 28 miles per gallon EcoDiesel is a perfect fit for the work truck that’s on the move, while the 2500 Laramie will bring you the ultra-amount of comfort all the way from a short drive to a coast-to-coast haul. And you’ll never have to worry about over-packing because the built-in Ram-Box gives you the room and protection you need to make sure you’ve got every toy and piece of gear you need for your trip.

THE NORTHERNER

Cold, snow, ice and salt come with the territory for those living in the northern United States. How does Ram make your every day a little easier? It’s in the little details, from remote start and keyless entry to having a truck that can handle a plow and get the job done in negative temperatures and harsh elements.

THE SOUTHERNER

Those who live in the South are no strangers to their own set of challenging elements. You may be launching your boat into the Deep South’s bayous or spending your days on the coast, where the heat and salty air can do its own damage. Either way, Ram Trucks are built to take a beating from the spray-in bedliner to the tri-fold tonneau cover that keep you covered.

THE FAMILY MAN OR WOMAN

Not every day needs towing capacity and the ability to handle rough terrain. Some days need safety and comfort to give you the peace of mind to know that your family is covered when in your Ram. Features such as Uconnect bring easy navigation and entertainment to your fingertips. The combination of ParkView rear back-up cameras and LED interior lighting bring maximum comfort to travelling in your Ram. All this puts a husband, wife or parent at ease when getting from A to B.

THE ANIMAL LOVER

Bucket seats and a rear sliding window are among the details that make the Ram cab the perfect spot for man’s best friend, whether you’re getting work done on the farm or taking a joy ride with the windows down. Or maybe your four-legged friends are a bit larger. The towing capacity of Ram Trucks is the assurance you need when towing cargo as precious as your horses, so you can trust that all of you will get to the next rodeo comfortably and safely.

So whether you’re using your vehicle to tear up the competition on the work site or simply to make sure you’ve got all the equipment packed for your weekend camping trip, Ram trucks have your back with all the features and capabilities you need.

11 Reasons Why Jimmy Fallon Should Buy a Ram Truck

We’re pretty confident that our trucks speak for themselves, but we wanted to add a little extra incentive for Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon to pick the only option that has GUTS and GLORY. Here are 11 reasons why we think he should choose a Ram Truck.

  1. When you’re not driving it you can rent it out as a studio apartment to make extra cash.
  2. Sometimes it takes more than just being “Big Enough.”
  3. It has room for the family and for your Roots.
  4. HEMI Fallon sounds like the greatest action hero that ever lived.
  5. If you want we’ll put a tape deck in it. Seriously, we can do that.
  6. HEMI means “obvious choice” in your native language. Also, we have no idea what nationality you are.
  7. The bed is the perfect place to park Tarik’s car.
  8. We’ll let you use #GUTSGLORYFallon as your hashtag of the week for free.
  9. Driving rare cars is SO 1992 to 2013. Ram Trucks are the future of the Tonight Show.
  10. We’ll set your Uconnect system to play Sam Elliot’s voice every time you start your truck.
  11. We are the first ever back-to-back Motor Trend champion, the Truck of Texas, we have best-in-class 28 MPG fuel economy, best-in-class 30,000 lbs towing, and the only Light Duty Diesel. Those are reason enough.

Be sure to tweet these reasons to @JimmyFallon and @FallonTonight to show Jimmy that we know what he’s looking for in a truck.

Ram Trucks Partners with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition for 50th Anniversary

For 50 years Sports Illustrated has brought some of the most beautiful women and most incredible locales in the world right to our mailboxes. In recent years, Ram Trucks has been proud to be featured amongst those beautiful ladies with some of the most unique ads we’ve ever done. It’s definitely a new twist on the idea of being able to handle the curves. We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition’s 50th anniversary. We even spent a little time on-site with some of the models during their shoot. Trust us, the locations they pick can be so remote that you need the capability of a Ram Truck to get there. We like to think it was a win-win situation for everyone. We took a look behind the scenes as some of the ladies you’ll see in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition posed for their photo shoots. Ram Trucks High Octane Games Come to a Close in Epic Fashion

We launched the High Octane games to celebrate our Ram Heavy Duty lineup getting our 6.4L HEMI powertrain. Since then we’ve seen professional snowboarders drop into epic runs.

We’ve seen pro snowmobile riders back-flip over our trucks. We’ve even seen ice climbers cheat death on vertical ice sheets hundreds of feet above the ground.

You might think we would wind down as the games came to close. You couldn’t be more wrong. We wanted to move the needle when it came to the 6.4L HEMI, so we had to push the limits of what High Octane means. What does a big gas power plant mean when you’re miles from anywhere in the polar cold? It means Reengineering the Elements.

At the High Octane games bruises are worn like medals, your only competitors are fear and the mountain, and the only rules are the ones you make for yourself. Maybe we’re not really closing the games. Maybe we’re just passing the torch.
