The Real People, Real Trucks blog series here on RamZone has always been a terrific venue for folks to share great stories of their Ram trucks, from tales of high mileage to dependability to capability to plain old longevity. Today’s story, from Darrin V. of Gore, Virginia, incorporates a little bit of everything. Take it away, Darrin!
National Fishing Week may be over for another year, but now that it’s the second week of June and we’re fully into summer, it just makes sense to devote not just one week, but every day possible to the celebration and practice of one of the greatest pastimes there is, fishing.
So, for our June edition of the monthly Guts & Gear Patrol, we’re featuring Ram Trucks merchandise that will making any fishing trip better. And while we can’t guarantee that our gear will help you catch your limit every day—there’s a reason they call it fishing and not catching, after all—we’re confident that you’ll at least be the envy of all your fishing buddies, particularly the die-hard Ram Truck enthusiasts among them.
Only halfway through 2013 and it’s clear already that this year will go down as one of, if not the most important in the history of Ram Trucks. Credit for that should go in large part to the launch of the innovative new 2013 Ram 1500, winner of several significant awards including Motor Trend Truck of the Year and North American Truck of the Year.
As we mentioned in this blog post, June 1 through June 9, 2013, is National Fishing and Boating Week in the United States. To mark the occasion, RamZone is presenting a very special edition of Real People, Real Trucks. The story comes to us from Columbus, Georgia, and features Aldo R., a fisherman who clearly understands the value a good truck can add to his favorite pastime.
