Now that we’ve announced the grand prize winner as well as the first and second runners-up for the Ram and Dan Patrick Stories of Glory contest, we feel it’s time to give a well-deserved shout-out to Lauren M. of Scottsville, Kentucky.
Although Lauren’s story didn’t quite manage to crack the top three, she still impressed our judges, something this athlete is probably very used to doing.
Every fall in Las Vegas, the Specialty Equipment Market Association, otherwise known as SEMA, holds its annual auto show to celebrate and showcase aftermarket tools, components and auto accessories. The show is one of the largest on the planet, hosting more than 60,000 international and domestic buyers, and offering customizers and suppliers the chance to show off their work.
The old saying goes that behind every great man is a great woman. True as that may be, we have a slightly different take on things – behind the wheel of every great Ram, there is often a woman who makes the truck even better.
We know that not just men are in the market for trucks. We know too that some women have their own very specific reasons for purchasing them. What it comes down to for many is finding the perfect blend of beauty and power, and, as evident in the infographic below, nowhere is that blend more balanced than in one of our Ram Trucks.
For those who may have missed the 2013 Heavy Duty & Chassis Cab Live Reveal from the State Fair of Texas, we’re providing the video in its entirety at the bottom of this post. We’re biased of course, but to us, subsequent viewings of the reveal are just as exciting as the real-time event orchestrated so skillfully by Fred Diaz, President and CEO Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico, Chrysler Group LLC.

The above quote from singer-songwriter Brantley Gilbert is in reference to the Ram Truck he’s been driving around for the past year. It’s the same Ram Truck, as a matter of fact, that Brantley will soon be auctioning off for charity.
