For this week’s edition of Real People, Real Trucks, we head out to Carmi, Illinois, where, to use his own words, Ram truck owner Trevor Hart wouldn’t trade his Ram 1500 “for the world.” Take it away, Trevor!
About a year ago I traded in my Dodge Stratus for a 1995 Ram 1500. This truck is all original beside the paint. It was back when they still put what I think is the best motor in their trucks, the 318 5.2L V8 Magnum. This truck now has 217,000 miles on it and is still my daily driver. I love my truck and wouldn’t trade it for the world. This past winter all of my neighbors had four-wheel drive, and my rear-wheel drive was the first truck out, not to mention that we had 16 to 18 inches of snow on the ground and I had no weight in the bed at the time.
